Ask for Chicka's drink at the bar. Double points if you rub ur belly when staring at the bartender.

Terminal A is the best one to fly out of. No lines at check-in and at security. Can't ask for better than that!!

Nothing much here. Good if you want to catch the flight and dont want to waste time and avoid the crowd. Con: small duty free. Not many variety of products. No post office postbox.

Can be a dreary and unfriendly place and it can be easy to get sucked into the negative vortex here. Make a stranger smile - you will feel better too!

United terminal C: check in on level 2 if you can, then walk down to gate C3 for the TSA pre-check line for the fastest pre boarding

Don't fly Porter if you have three bags (or any more than one, really). I moved here for an internship and paid 50 something for bags at Pearson heading to LaGuardia, but now I'm paying 275 extra!

I suggest the international travellers apply for the global card... It took me about 5 minutes to go through check out and customs and be out of the airport... Yay!

Please avoid this airport if you can, especially for connecting flights. Many delays and cancellations due to large volume of traffic and the weather.

Air travel can be tough on the knees and joints so while in flight, rotate the ankles in a circular motion one at a time. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.

Security is a joke here. If you breathe funny, you will set off the "bomb alarm." Random TSA-pre checks split up parties and they don't seem to care as they pat you down and violate you.

Quick and easy access to your gates but options are very limited in Terminal B for international flights - just 1 shop, 1 restaurant for 7 gates 51-57. Not the best international terminal

You can pick up a shuttle bus at gate C71 that transfers to B or A terminal without going through security again. If you take the AirTrain you'll have to leave the secure area.

If you're looking for a cheap way to leave the city within the next few hours. EWR always has the cheap-getawat flights. But +/- 100$ for car service, depending on where you're coming from.

If you are flying to Argentina and need to pay the reciprocity fee of $160, you can no longer do this when you land in Argentina, it must be done at home, or in the employee lounge like we just did.

One of the friendlier airports I've been to in terms of staff. Even CBP agents are pleasant.
