Purple Passion Roll - can taste the Japanese and Italian flavors with the capers, black olives and eggplant - dip in balsamic pesto. Provides a nice crunch + vegetarian choice.

Good, reasonably priced food in a nice atmosphere. Not the best Japanese food but I love the fusion of Japanese/Italian tapas. Can't wait to come back and try more plates.

Japanese-Italian fusion that is often nothing more than simply Japanese food served alongside Italian, Natsumi is still a welcome addition to a relatively bland Kips Bay restaurant scene
