It's always been my favorite local venue. The renovations included widened concourses, HD screens and brand new comfortable seats. It has great aesthetics to enjoy making memories at The New Coliseum.

Old and outdated arena. small crowds for hockey on the weekdays but on the weekends it gets crowded. im really gonna miss this place so sad to see my team leave but the arena will be renovated.
Louis MattaSeptember 24, 2017A nice/smaller change of pace from the major NYC venues. Isn't as much a hike to get to your seats, and acoustics are a major upgrade from its predecessor.
Great Place to see a hockey game and the pretzel braids are the best. Gonna miss the Old Barn next season

Shame the Islanders are moving to Brooklyn...so may great memories there- The first event in the arena was a NY Nets Basketball game on February 11, 1972. The Nets played at the Coliseum from 1972-77 and won American Basketball Association Championships in 1974 & 1976.
Guyetri PSeptember 16, 2014I went to see the Pitbull/Enrique Iglesias concert on 9/14/2014 I was quite surprised with the $30.00 parking fee. With all this money collected it is terrible that the Coliseium can't be fixed up.

For close to 8 dollars, you can get 3 chicken tenders with no fries. Be forewarned.
