The San Diego Museum of Man is punctuated by the California Tower, a stunning Spanish-Colonial structure completed in 1915 for an exposition celebrating the completion of the Panama Canal.
Really good museum. Just note your not allowed take pics and do not bring children under 12 we saw a woman with a 6 year girl that was getting upset but I would really recommend this for adults

If you've been to the Smithsonians in DC or the Museum of Civilization in Ottawa, then this will be a disappointment. However the Mayan hieroglyphs make it worth it.
Free on Tuesdays and the museum has great dinosaurexhibits, bones and videos. Outside the sunflowers are blooming, and the botanical gardens are close by!
After seeing reviews I was excited to go, it’s not what I was expecting at all. If you’ve ever been to a museum, you’ve already seen this one. Finished this in about an hour. Don’t waste your money
