Massive playground in Golden Gate Park with tons of different play structures, a water/sand area and a great, albeit slightly dangerous concrete slide (use cardboards to slide).
Very nice playground near the Presidio. It has a water/sand structure as well.
Must be one of the playgrounds with the best view in the world! Fairly new with a basketball court and a big lawn area. You can use the toilets at the nearby fire-station.
Great place for young kids birthday parties. Enclosed kid only area. Nice playground. Picnic benches. And restrooms.
