Great lunch! A little piece of Phoenix history. The food is AMAZING! The Prime Rib Bites and the Prime Rib Tacos are FANTASTIC! Even the Bread here is yummy! Can't wait to come back!
Awesome atmosphere w/some very historic Arizona stuff. Steakhouse, so get steak (filet mignon especially). Rosemary bread is really good too. A little expensive but worth it for quality/experience.
An amazing slice of a century's worth of Tempe history! Endless rooms vary in theme from Hay bale territorial to Mexican fountian garden. Their rosemary bread, steaks and bloody Marys are to die for!
Monti's has GOOD bake potatoes for about $3 each & they are DELISH. If you're a poor college student on a budget & do not have a big appetite I recommend it. .05 for draft beer if you check in on here
Great prime rib, perfect horseradish (ask for the real thing) peach cobbler for dessert is outstanding. Call for reservation or you may wait a long time. Worth it though.
Monti’s has amazing steaks, but also take the time to wander through the restaurant. They have a cool collection of historical Tempe and Arizona photos and artifacts.
Built in 1871 by Tempe founder Charles Trumbull Hayden. Birthplace of Carl Hayden, "the most important person in Arizona history." A visit to La Casa Vieja is like a trip through Arizona's pre-statehood history. Dining rooms are filled with memorabilia of the frontier days.
