If you live in the area, buy the annual family membership. It's less expensive and you can skip the lines.

Lee McEachernSeptember 8, 2010Bring a small, lint free cloth in your pocket. Many small hands leave many small hand prints. Use the cloth to wipe off the hand prints, especially if you are taking photos.
Spend a minute talking to the staff and learn something new about the bay.
A magical place doing critically important work. Save the oceans!

- MarniOctober 20, 2014It's touristy, and over-priced. But it is a lot of fun. If you are only in town for a day or two, skip it and go to Point Lobos instead.
