Great staff, they made us feel so at-home. Dog friendly (even inside). If you're hungry, you can bring in take-out or get something delivered. Do a flight to try everything.

New York's easternmost brewery is a solid 2+ hours drive out of NYC, but worth the visit to this old schoolhouse turned brewery! Be sure to grab a growler to bring some of their beer back with you. Read more

Great addition to town and a nice fit for Montauk. A pint or flight and a seat at one of the outdoor picnic tables on a beautiful summer day sounds good to me.

Do the tasting - you keep the glass! Driftwood ESB is great - earthy and smooth. The hefe is a nice balance of lightness and taste - one of the better east coast micro brewed hefes I've had.

Arrive in the early evening and enjoy a pint in the sun, at the tables in front of the brewery. Driftwood Ale is great.

Due to bizarre liquor regulations...you buy an $8 tasting, giving you 4 five ounce tastes, plus the glass. You can also buy a growler, for off premises consumption.
