Based on all the recommendations I tried the Pork Betty... if you go to this restaurant and don't try this, it will be considered a sin! So nice. If you are hesitant don't be! Awesome service too :)
Get the Oyako roll. A cute play on the traditional Japanese dish, it's salmon and salmoneggs and was one of the more interesting kinds of nontraditional sushi I've had in a while.
Per popular suggestion, we requested the Pork Betty & sushi bombs. Though not exactly mind blowing, def delicious and the sushi rice may be the best I've ever tasted. Great quality and service!

Absolutely amazing food, service, and atmosphere here! A small place you wouldnt think to stop, but completely worth it. Make sure to try their 'bombs': they're the bomb.
Want to cry from happiness. The owner, Phillip, was my server at my first bozu trip and I have spent two years trying to find the "new restaurant he was opening". Thank god. Go. Omikase. Seriously.
Yuzusake...so refreshing on a hot summer day. Ricecroquettes. Spicy McBomb...Do it. Neighborhood gem, fun, lively, open kitchen atmosphere, friendly staff :)
communal tables in a converted garage. feels like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meets Okinawa which I enjoy. good fish, cool servers. $ only. it's expensive, but at least the plates are small.
Gyoza is delicious, & general presentation sharp- details attended to. Love the three soy & wasabi cups with tiny spoons. The long wooden tables are beautiful. Only the lighting is a bit abrasive.
The Spicy McBomb is amazing and so is the Momosalad. The atmosphere is definitely cool but the acoustics are God awful. Not a good place if you're looking for an intimatedinner.
