There are two kinds of bars listed here. Those that show UFC fights and are more sporty. The others are just great places to hang out, enjoy excellent libations and good company.
1. Buffalo Billiards
MMA Nation: They may not always show the fights in HD, but they do offer plenty of screens, fast service and decent bar fare. Expect a cover.
2. Bailey's Pub and Grille
MMA Nation: If you're willing to make the trek out to the 'burbs, this is your best bet for viewing pleasure of combat sports pay-per-view events.
3. Summers Grill Restaurant & Sports Bar
MMA Nation: A little cramped, but fights are shown in HD and the cover is half of what it is at Buffalo Billiards.
4. DC9 Rooftop Bar
MMA Nation: Bartenders love UFC as much as the customers. Great beers, super divey and really friendly.
5. The Boardwalk DC
MMA Nation: Want to watch fights close to the Verizon Center? This is the place to be. Modern, friendly and easy to access.
6. Lucky Bar
MMA Nation: Like sports? Like sports like soccer or other sports besides baseball? Lucky Bar has you covered.
7. R.F.D. Washington
MMA Nation: Great selection of bottles, plenty of seating space and across the street from the Metro. Food is so-so, but everything else on the money.
8. Little Miss Whiskey's Golden Dollar
MMA Nation: Arguably my favorite bar in DC. There are no TVs or UFC here, but you won't miss it while you're inside.
9. Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club
MMA Nation: Best late night spot in the entire city. Bit of a sketchy neighborhood, so don't walk there if you can avoid it.
10. The Argonaut
MMA Nation: Nothing amazing about the place, but really great bar generally speaking. Good outside seating, too.
