Ackee hummus with grilled flatbread & hot pepper shrimp apps, then steamed porgy on bammy and jerk salmon with side of rice and peas and Jamaican vegetables. Good sangria and sorrel drinks.

They might have cracked the code for the perfect fry width. They’re so thin that they veer towards matchstick, but they still have enough heft to evoke the idea that they were once a humble potato. Read more

Call ahead to make sure they have the coconut cake & have them set aside a piece for you when you get there. Everything jerk is amazing, but don't miss out on the smokey-sweet grilled pork ribs!

Original home of the best jerk chicken in the city. The organic salad with the fish has a great flavor and a tangy sweetness from the mango that is refreshing and satisfying. Not too sweet - spot on!

Try the ackee and salt fish, get extra festival. The Dutty Wine (red wine sangria) was good and so was the Bellini. Great atmosphere and nice staff.

Great vibe in this place. Unique menu offerings. Attentive owner who made us feel like home. Well prepared food. A little on the pricy side with my sandwich, side, and a smoothie coming out at $29.

This is one of the coolest and best places in NYC/the village. The food outstanding: I got a jerk chicken roti, jerk corn and rice and beans. The prices are very cheap. Highly recommended!

Great vibe and amazing Food. There is a DJ at all times playing a selection of reggae music. It is a bit expensive, but well worth it. Try the Jerk Chicken and Plantains.

Currently smashing a jerk chicken (spicy as hell, but not in a needless way) roti. Food is still fusion-y Caribbean but was better & more authentic than I've ever had here before. Also: great coffee.

Shitty, faux-hip vibe and terrible service, although the food is pretty tasty. I liked the jerk corn and the shrimp curry. ALSO: there's no real alcohol in the $13 cocktails, only soju, sake, & bonal.
