Milk and Roses is one of the sweetest places in Greenpoint. Try the organic chicken, simple cooked but so tasty. The space inside is full of vintage details and outside anyone can be happy.
I loved the americano. They serve misceladoro coffee. The food was tasty. And the garden is spacious and very beautiful. The rustic feel and the trees make such a relaxing and lovely atmosphere.
There are two forms of bread pudding on the menu: sweet or savory. The sweet (pictured) is an excellent dessert. The savory is the Aquasale all'Uovo, more of a lunch entree with bread, green & an egg.
I thought that seating area was it. I left my stuff wandered around and found the most beautiful backyard/garden/green house. So don't sit at the front ! Go to the back!! Also remember CASH ONLY
With some of the best cafe design in NYC, with open beams, rough hewn floor, sagging shelves of books, a grand piano, and a leather couch, this is a cozy spot to read, work or meet a friend. Read more
The food here is incredible. VegetableNapoleon is unassuming, but it's delicately rich and interesting in flavor. The warm ricotta kicks it up a notch. Duck breast also phenomenal.
Seriously one of the most lovely bars I've been in a while. Blood berry / eponymous cocktails were also delicious. Excited to come back & try the food!
1. Attend one of the delightful musicperformances on Tuesday evening 2. Order a savory cheese platter 3. Immerse yourself in huge stacks of books 4. Leave a quote at the bar
Came for brunch & though very cute & what seemed like a nice menu, our food never came after 1hr as we "got caught behind a large order" although we saw 3 people who had sat after us get their food
It's a great place to grab a quick coffee with friends, warm and cozy and the shelves lined with books makes it feel homey. However, do so without fidgety toddlers!
Lots of seating options, a backyardgarden, free wifi, many plugs and gorgeous decor make this an excellent working spot. Skip the coffee, food's not bad. Read more
It's not remotely a coffee destination but Milk & Roses scores extremely high in coziness and design and throws wifi, plugs, and a large backyardgarden into the mix. Read more
If you're not used to Italian hot chocolate, you could be excused for thinking you'd mis-ordered pudding by mistake. Rich & thick, the spoon stands up straight. Read more
Amazing atmosphere...a wall of leather-bound books, tin tile ceiling, beauliful rose gardenpatio, piano, and great food and coffee. The owners and customers are friendly & tend to be very laid back.
