That cheddarchivebiscuit for an egg Sammy base was so good I have dreams of it. Paired with a chai latte and great service. Only downside - small space. So be prepared to be cozy with strangers
Always busy but the staff works really hard. Had the full egg with avocado and most recently the toasted Avocado . Food is always good. Great flat white and chai tea.
Yes it's small, yes the food options are limited... But the food that they do offer is delicious! I tried the Avocado Salsa toast and the Cheddar Biscuit sandwich. I'd come back for both!
Try the Avocado Toast-a brawny slab of multi-grain that's been browned to its optimum crunch point, with chunky avocadosalsa is as flavorful as it is abundant. Topped with a poached egg, it's perfect
Beat the system! If you get the fruit compote with granola & Greek yogurt, it's 2 bucks LESS than if you get the granola with Greek yogurt & fruit compote. (Both are delicious-in a kinda healthy way.)
I admit, I used to not like this place because it felt too chaotic. But something changed; it's an absolutely delightful place to enjoy a meal, some people-watching, & some wifi. Great food & staff.
The full eggs with avocado is perfection - great bread with tasty ham and flavor enhancing cheese, perfectly poached eggs and some hearty slices of avocado. The flat white is incredibly smooth.
If you're flying solo, consider sitting at one of the counter spots or the communal table, especially if you're going to sit there and nurse a glass of water. Looking at you, laptop guy at a two top.
Australian iced coffee = espresso, milk, and two big scoops of vanilla ice cream. Warning: It’s going to be hard to go back to normal iced coffee after this.
Seems to me they focus on presentation over taste. Not to crazy for the poached eggs & avocado. It was simply to bland. The coasters used for the drinks don't fit. Otherwise cute decor!
I am not a faan of Milk Bar. I also like their avocado and eggs, but find the prices much too high! We call that highway robbery. Similar to nearby gourmet shop Brooklyn Larder! Rather go to Amorina
