What can I say that hasn't been said? I usually get the BBQ Dinner because it has a variety of meats, but the Saucy Southerner is a great (and cheap!) option all around.
The desserts...oh my. I've often thought about going here just for the desserts. Try one! Try them all! Try anything and you won't be disappointed!
I had the top sirloin from the "lighter fare" menu with a helping of steamed summer vegetables. It was delicious and wasn't calorie-loaded!
My wife and I just moved to Ames from Texas and were very happy to know that there is great Tex-Mex this far north! The chips and salsa were memorable, but the whole meal was great.
