- Djaniella D.March 28, 2015I love beef brisket and theirs has to be one of the best I've ever had. The meat is so tender and although you can add some sauce, it's delicious even on its own. Pair it with some corn fritters!
- Fabian MartinSeptember 6, 2022Always a hit. Go for the ride bowl with burnt ends and make sure to take the broccoli salad. The Mac and cheese is honestly not that great and neither is the sweet potato
- HelenSeptember 12, 2014Brisket is so buttery and moist, reminded me of Texas BBQ. One of the two-three places in all of New York that I can compare it to Texas BBQ. Burnt end beans are the cherry on top.
- Sam GrNovember 15, 2014Buttermilk Bacon Broccoli is surprisingly amazing. Probably going to give most of the credit to the buttermilk and bacon. Also, don't skimp on the mayo cole slaw.
- Huaisi CenNovember 9, 2016Delicious food, fast serving. Great place to get quality food if in rush, but also a nice place to hang out with close friends.
- spicy chicken sandwich (without slaw, for me) is a generous portion of fried chicken with buffalo-style hot sauce. do your best to resist the bread pudding as a side option
- Kevin ThompsonAugust 14, 2014Great value and delicious food. Definitely try the burnt ends, which is literally the burnt ends of the brisket. Also get the brontosaurus rib and beans. Wasn't impressed with the pulled pork.
- Elliot WehnerJanuary 25, 2015The brisket is the best I have ever had. A variety of pickled veggies (free) balance it out. Baked beans are great too (even cold the next day for breakfast)
- DoubleDeuceApril 19, 2018It's all just so tasty! Plus, some great window seating for looking out on the West Village crowd.
- Mike McBryanDecember 23, 2014I usually tell folks to go for the brisket, but the ribs are excellent as well. Nothing better than a platter, the broccoli side salad and a Brooklyn Brewery Beer.
- Rory ParnessDecember 15, 2017Not nearly as crowded as the east village location but same great smoke. Ribs are cooked to a tad before "fall off the bone" for a perfect combo of texture and tender
- Mark UrquhartSeptember 1, 2014Spare ribs and bbq sauce; great combo. Pulled pork was very tasty, nice mix of smokiness and moisture. Unimpressed with the line management and checkout. Took about ten minutes to pay and sit down
- Thomas PajorSeptember 13, 2015Just as the East Village location the brisket here is magnificent. Though I was here rather late, I had the feeling that this branch is less busy.
- Great addition to the WV - brisket and burnt ends are good ways to go. Also one of a few spots around here good for solo dining
- Chris PolloneSeptember 1, 2014Ribs are nicely done. Smokey & tender but with good pull & a bit of sweetness. The baked beans come with big chunks of brisket. Sausage is disappointing. Bland like an oversized hot dog.
- Udi RubinSeptember 1, 2014I had the brisket sandwich and it was a pleasant surprise. It was fantastic, made just to the level where its not to dry and not to rare. Nice stuff
- Megan JohnsonDecember 20, 2014First time here, and as a Texan I can say this is good BBQ! Brisket and pulled pork are very tender. Didn't get sides this time, but the broccoli seems like the one to try.
- Odds are your eyes are bigger than your stomach. Go with a single order of burnt ends (naked) and a small side.
- Natalie VAugust 21, 2016A little overpriced but food is good. Brisket is the best out of the meats and the potato salad and sweet potato sides are delicious.
- David ZhangSeptember 21, 2014Long lines for pretty solid (but not amazing) BBQ. Their ribs are probably their best offering but if you're serious about brisket you need to go to Brooklyn (delaneys or fette sau).
- Mia GantSeptember 10, 2015No need 4 reservations; the space is good for big groups/birthday dinners bc everyone orders at the counter. Tender meat & GREAT BBQ sauce!
- marcy stoneAugust 23, 2014The brisket is delicious with a nice rub but burnt end baked beans are a must..meal unto themselves, and spicy!
- Andrea BarrezuetaAugust 14, 2014Also at smorgasburg in Williamsburg every Saturday.. Just eat something before bcs the line can get long. Worth the wait though.
- Get the baked beans, might be better than the actual BBQ. Or a very very close second.
- Mike McBryanOctober 27, 2014Go for the brisket. The pulled pork is good, but not what they are known for. Also the edamame salad and cold broccoli salads for sides.
- Steve LeVineSeptember 22, 2017Always the pulled pork. They also have great beer selection on tap besides bottles.
- M TAugust 5, 2014Wings are pretty spicy *warning* pulled pork yummy and get the ginger ale if you like ginger- it's very fresh.
- Michael McNabbFebruary 12, 2015The brisket is very tender. The beet salad was surprisingly flavorful. A touch of orange but not too much.
- Zachary ZhaoAugust 8, 2014Burnt End Baked Beans and Buttermilk Broccoli Salad with Bacon are two amazing side dishes.
- Telle ThomasJuly 26, 2015Pork ribs, boneless chicken and the potato salad is good just get a little extra salt for taste.
- James GreenDecember 20, 2014Brisket or Pulled Pork sandwich is always a good decision. The pickled peppers are pretty spicy.
- MarthaFebruary 13, 2015delicious!!! had the burnt ends as a sandwich and it was killer. i hope they deliver...
- 1/2 lb brisket sandwich with vinegar coleslaw and extra pickled cucumbers is LIFE
- Frank DieboldDecember 23, 2014Burnt end sandwich, small beans, firestone IPA. Creamy slaw. Don't forget the sauce
- Elysia MannJune 13, 2015Pickled veggies are just the icing on top of the meaty platters. Douse in BBQ sauce!!
- Jari MäkeläJanuary 21, 2015Take two different kinds of meat because too much of a good thing can be quite wonderful!
- Great food, but sometimes they run out of favorites like brisket too often.
