These are the restaurants that we visited during our time in Sri Lanka that proved to have good food and friendly service, and that I can really recommend trying out.

Arts & Entertainment
· Guildford, United Kingdom"Great location, right on the beach. Reasonably priced and service isn't too slow. Salads are served out of large sea shells."
Bar
· ශ්රී ලංකාව"Very good value for money. Location is a bit off in Tissa, but the lake and good restaurants are only a short tuktuk-ride away. Helped out with arrangements for Yala, and serves dinner on demand."
Hotel
· ශ්රී ලංකාව"Located in a somewhat quieter area, with a stunning view of Ella Rock. Room standard didn't meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness. Good breakfast and very friendly service from the manager."
Motel
· ශ්රී ලංකාව"Nice large establishment on top of a woodcraft shop. Unfortunately the food we got was really subpar - going with the buffet might've been a better choice. Regularly priced."

· ශ්රී ලංකාව"Had the curry with rice, which tasted great and was only 900 LKR and enough for two people. Friendly family-owned place, the owners came out to chat with us after we finished eating. Would return."
