Sandwich Spot · Lower East Side · 1450 tips and reviews
Michael Muse: Just the most classic ambiance- you are just feeling the SOUL of NYC when you come here. The pastrami is my favorite order here. HUGE stacks of meat on thin bread slices is the NY deli style sandwich.

Michael Muse: This is my #1 rec for gals in from out of town. Its got this Sex and the City vibe to it, though not like a girly place or whatever. The food is actually great.

Japanese Restaurant · East Village · 187 tips and reviews
Michael Muse: This is the kind of place that you just will not find in another city in America. Japanese grilled meat skewers. Crazy looking menus - trust me, this is a cool and unique experience.
Michael Muse: Zagat ranks this pretty consistently as the top burger in NY. Its got a cool NY vibe to it and the burger is great, even if I wouldnt rank it #1.
Michael Muse: Tourists love telling everyone back home about the cupcakes here. Im not much for sweets. Thing is, they are actually pretty darn amazing.

Chinese Restaurant · Chinatown · 140 tips and reviews
Michael Muse: Chinatown. Best pan fried dumplings EVER EVER EVER. Sesame noodles, soup dumplings, scallion pancakes are also always on my order. I like it all here. Ice cream across the street afterwards.
Michael Muse: Need reservations. Speakeasy entrance through the kitchen of a taco stand, it has a very cool/stylish vibe inside: romantic but not intimate. Tasty Mexicany-fusionish food.
