If it's your first time there you can't miss with the Southern Star and a sweet tea. You get pulled pork and brisket, both are phenomenal.

Get a pound or a half of brisket, they'll give you sauce but honestly, you won't need it.- Wednesday is "Pastrami Wednesday" and the pastrami sandwich is terrific. But even better is the pastrami Reuben, incredible. Only on Wednesdays.

Best Fried Chicken in TOWN but they only serve it on Saturdays. Smoked and fried in the Haight. Perfect.
