Humongous teishoku sets (food coma guaranteed) with excellent grilled fish or chicken choices. If you come in after 1 pm, they have free side dishes (tamagoyaki, tomatoes, etc.).
The ~1500 yen lunch is a great deal for an app, main, bread, coffee/tea. The lamb chops are killer. Also, the prixe fixe lunch at 2100 yen is a total steal for the decadence you get.
Sizable yakiniku lunch set for 1,000 yen can't be beat. (Free refills on soup and rice.)
Lunch specials are a good deal, with generous portions. When in doubt, go for the chicken & rice.
Dinner is pricey, but the lunch (1,500 yen) is definitely one of the best Indian buffets in town.
