Mel Mc: We booked the Wicked package at the time which included accom in a Premier Room, two cocktails, dessert and brekky in bed. Room Service was also one of the better ones, it was still hot on arrival!

Mel Mc: A fave alternative to a 5 star. Loved the SPG Gold upgrade to a Premium Harbour View Room to capture a sunset or Darling Harbour lights. Grab a drink in the Lobby Lounge and Room Service is also good

Mel Mc: Great place for an all day brekky or lunch overlooking Harmony Park. Industrial feel & tasty menu. Two Good Eggs Brekky is a decent size. Other faves are the Breakfast burgers & 'Goats on Toast'

Mel Mc: Very popular cafe. Modern brekky and lunch. Recommend the Lumiere Big Breakfast, Corn Cake Stack and Ricotta Hot Cakes. A tad pricey, though quality is very good and you won't go home hungry

Mel Mc: Cute courtyard location with beautiful orchids. Super nice staff to let us have a sneaky afternoon cuppa just before closing. Inside reminded me of a pastel Parisian cafe

Mel Mc: Trendy place with creative menu - not the usual fare. We sampled the Avo on Rye, Cuban, Strawberry Soda & Konga coffee. The food was speedy, but overall service a bit lax. Maybe better next visit?

Mel Mc: Stumbled upon this ocean breeze cafe. Was impressed with the plating of the Flourless Chocolate cake and oversized Burnt Orange homemade scone with their own jam

Mel Mc: We try and go late afternoon as there is always a queue for this little establishment! Luckily the Ginger Brulee Tart has always been available. YUM!

Mel Mc: The dilemma is what to choose in the bakery window. We ended up getting the GF Orange Delight and most decadent Lemon Meringue towering tart. The GF bread rolls are also good for homemade garlic bread

Mel Mc: Buzzing coffee shop alongside Rosetta Stone Artisan Bakery. Go here for the coffees, cute cast-iron teapots for one and most divine mini Lemon Tart

Mel Mc: The Egyptian Iced Tea is the perfect refresher on a hot day. The Salted Caramel tart is the most gooiest I've ever had! Edgy Surry Hills coffee shop that is tucked away and relaxed

Mel Mc: Cute coffee local. The Elderflower and Mint soda is the pick on a hot day. The mini pastries look divine

Mel Mc: Good for a quick coffee or tea. Tea leaves a bit light on. Service was friendly

Mel Mc: Should have checked the bill as we got charged $12.50 for a Campos coffee and a pot of tea!!

Mel Mc: Cute presentation for the boutique OJ. Macaron flavours are adventurous (like Truffle!) but are chilled so the ganache wasn't light and fluffy

Mel Mc: A real boutique in the heart of Queen St. Felt just like being in one of the smaller boutiques in Paris

Mel Mc: Not quite the Parisian boutique when located in Westfield Mall. You can still get the Parisian touch through the pastel tableware and macarons. Recommend the Framboise, Rose, Citron & Fruits Rouges

Mel Mc: The most impressive range of flavours and colours in a tiny macaron.... called Zumbarons. This neon bright patisserie store even has a dessert train!

Mel Mc: There's usually a queue in this tiny gelato heaven. Messina has the most impressive range of natural gelato and sorbet flavours. The cute gelato cakes in the display are also worth admiring or buying!

Mel Mc: Not as crazy busy as Messina and you can watch the people go by from the window bar seats. Recommend the NEW YORK - NEW YORK Organic Canadian maple syrup & caramelised pecan nut gelato

Mel Mc: Unique flavours of gelato and sorbet with a choose it, dunk it, top it motto. Friendly service with plenty of taste tests!

Mel Mc: Not easy to find, but most amazing wall of whisky in Aus, including Islay single malts like Bruichladdich Octomore. Order the Ploughmans platter with the fancy Pepe Saya butter & side of HOT mustard

Mel Mc: Another hideaway that you may not find if not for the Sat night queue. Check out the preserved wildlife on the walls. Has a mini menu of whiskies compared to The Baxter Inn

Mel Mc: Tucked away on the Hawkesbury River, this is tranquility mixed with fine dining. Mostly window front tables where you savour the 7 course degustation menu that has hints of Quay including the plating

Mel Mc: Gorgeous restaurant and view over looking the gardens. Complimentary appetisers were a nice small touch. Grilled quail wrapped in pancetta and sage w/ roast onions & radicchio was cooked to perfection

Mel Mc: Country boutique feel yet still a luxury retreat only 90 mins from Sydney CBD. The gardens are lush and manicured

Mel Mc: Getting through Syd customs has never been so good when you have Emirates Business Class complimentary Fast Track vouchers!
