Add fried shallots to burgers or dogs for just $1. Worth it, trust me. The hot dog with shallots ($1 extra) and cheese sauce (.50 extra) can't be beat and fills you up.

Lula Cafe is amazing. They essentially have two menus. The more static, less expensive is great and still has items from 12 years ago. The chicken is incredible. The other menu changes and is great.
Best farmers market I've been to. You can get anything and everything there. Meat, sauces, bread, flowers, veggies, pastries, ice cream you name it!
A Chicago institution, Margie's is worth all the hype. The house specialty--"heaven in a white clamshell dish"-- combines three scoops of ice cream, nuts, whipped cream and hot fudge. Read more.
