Carlton FCMay 4, 2011Blues Fact: 121,696 crammed the MCG for the 1970 Grand Final - the biggest crowd in VFL/AFL history. Carlton defeated Collingwood by 10 points after coming from 44 points down at half-time.
My favorite stadium in Melbourne. Went to two cricket matches on my trip. Second level has some nice indoor bars to visit behind the seats when you want a break and a drink.

- Must see in Melbourne, love the atmosphere at a footy game and there's no oval quite like it!
Get to a Sheffield Shield game or the Ryobi Cup in summer. Get the ground to yourself, and watch the cricket in peace. Great way to wyle away the summer hours.
