Everything here is delicious and the staff is super friendly! Loved the carnitas and chorizo tacos and the chilaquiles are amazing! The tres leches and churros with chocolate sauce were so delectable!
If you're a tequila lover, you need to come here. There's a ton of different options to choose from, and the cocktails they craft are delicious. The food is also not to be missed - get the tacos!
Delicious tequila and mezcal drinks. The food here is amazing as well. If you like 'em spicy, you'll love it here. Dark and cozy. The wait can be hit or miss, but it's worth it.
A great bar to have a drink with your lover or a couple of friends. Really intimate, interesting interior and great cocktails — Afternoon Delight was a great spicy, summer beer-cocktail.
The premier Mezcal / Tequila bar in NYC and likely the best in the USA. If agave spirits and cocktails are your thing then you need to make a stop here. Phenomenal experience and drinks.
Quiet and low key. Great spot for dates and small groups. Extensive cocktail menu; love trying something new each time. Limited food menu but nicely curated. I think about their fish tacos often.
The cocktails are visually appealing! Loved their El Piloto - mezcal, Jamaican rum & absinthe. Also loved the Jimador Shifty - basically pineapple mezcal & negra modelo.
Lots of room so you can find a seat on a Saturday night. Known for tequila and mezcal drinks. If you're not into full on mezcal get the sotol. Sotol is between tequila and mezcal.
Skip the tres leches (legit: it's a dry muffin top dipped in condensed milk). Cocktails and service are great though. Would definitely go back to try an entree and *maybe* pick the churros instead.
This is my church. Selection of tequila/mezcal/sotol is lovingly curated. As for cocktails, decide on stirred or shaken and then just go down list. If you've never had Sherry in a drink, please try!
Tamales are trending this week and at this Mexican restaurant you will find some of the best in the Big Apple. We recommend you try the amazing mole braised chicken tamales.
Mayahuel is dedicated to the worship and preservation of agave. A mix of Mexican tile, dark wood and lots of tequila & mezcal bottles, it’s an embodiment of the most intentional of cocktail programs. Read more
Came here for drinks and the wait for the room upstairs was worth it. Love the ambiance and decor. Many many drink choices but go for the tequila/mezcal ones.
Food is decent, but overpriced. Service can be slow though, but who cares when you're there with good company and good drinks. I love La Vida Rosa, by the way. Not too strong, but refreshing.
There's magic in that smoked tomatillo salsa. Every bite will mystify you more than the last. Will you ever unlock the secret? Even if not, it goes perfectly with your smokey Mezcal.
Soak up all that booze with small plates such as chorizo-stuffed shrimp and scallops or full plates like lobster ceviche and tamales filled with mole-braised chicken. Read more
"East Village, unobtrusive, speakeasy-esque doors, over 40 different mescals to sip neat or in their numerous cocktail options. the drink recipes have been carefully conceived."-CoolHunting
One drink here and you might be ready to move to Mexico, learn Spanish, and resettle. They serve pork belly and steak, and you can drink tequila underneath a huge tarantula-shaped chandelier.
Our pick is the "Amor Morado" (El Tesoro tequila, sloe gin, absinthe and more). Learn how to make cocktail from the book "Speakeasy Cocktails" created for iPads. http://bit.ly/foursq_cocktails"
This bar currently appears on 209 different lists, and there is a reason for that. A little bit hard to spot from the street, but well worth the search!
Amazing drinks, and amazing Mezcal. I ate the Ceviche de langosta (lobster, passion fruit, mango, jicama) and the Chilaquiles with chorizo. EXCEPTIONAL, for real. I can't wait to go back.

Don't leave without trying the cochinitas (pork belly). Or the fish tacos. Or the quesadillas. Or the chilaquiles. It's all perfect for sharing, so do it to it.
The best micheladas in the City!!! (kind of like a Bloody Mary with Negro Modelo... But a million times better and so perfect for summer if you like spicy drinks).
Cute place, fun bathroom, great atmosphere, really good drinks, great service. Unfortunately, not so great food. I tried 6 dif dishes didn't like a single one. Flavorless
MUST!: Cochinita(pork belly),Lobster Ceviche, and Roasted Pepper filled with beef!A bit on the pricey side but the food is well worth it.The ambiance and staff are top shelf too.& don't forget sangria
