Excellent "secret" bar, just hard enough to find despite being in the middle of things. Nice and dark, smoking terrace, good drinks.

Marius Watz: A true hidden gem, this park features monumental architecture with an amazing location in the middle of the East River. The tram across from Manhattan is worth it all on its own.

Cozy bar and beer garden (+food truck), conveniently a little out of the way but still close to Fort Greene / Bed-Stuy / Atlantic Center. Friendly atmosphere w/ communal seating, good for groups.
