This place defines the neighborhood: old folks drinking coffee, little kids picking at pancakes, youth soccer teams enjoying the post-game, young couples shaking off the night before. Get a milkshake.
GREAT diner. A little more expensive, sure, but the food is on point, with a lot of ingredients sourced locally. It's been in biz since 1945 and the family that owns it is lovely!
My goto breakfast/brunch diner in the area. Pricey but price point is justified by the service and quality. I'm a fan of eggs benedict, chicken salad melt, any waffle/pancake platter off brunch menu.
Food varies from good to OK, but the waiters all wear ties so you feel classy. Sit in the back room, main room's bright fluorescent lights are intense.
