Very nice exhibitions and the museum is open pretty late. Come here for something more fruitful and off the beaten path than Pompidou

My absolute favorite museum in Paris. Only the building itself is worth seeing and then Van Gogh, Renoir, Monet, Manet, Gauguin, Degas, Picasso and all their friends will keep you company. Must go

Huge museums get me overwhelmed. No chance to focus. Pic a few parts you want to see. I recommend seeing the Royal apartment especially if not going to Versailles on your trip
The atmosphere is very sensual and nice. Gets crowded quite early in the evening and then empties after midnight. Excellent service. Come here with a big wallet
