Aside from the really good Angus steak, Mamou can boast of their Lorenzo's truffle cream pasta (which made a convert out of my red-sauce-pasta loving friend), the creamed spinach & their tuyo salad.
Lorenzon's Truffle Cream is to die for!Super love it! Mamou, the owner, is very friendly. She went to our table to chat with us and we really appreciate it. Good food plus good service!
I wanted to skip the highly recommended truffle cream pasta but it's a good thing that I didn't. Thumbs up for it! Steak is indeed good too. Key lime pie should be missed. Not authentic.
Truffle pasta, sinigang with red rice and the free bread with butter as appetizer are all superb! Lemonade is good also :) lamb tapa is also a must try!
Found out that the key lime pie wasn't made with key lime at all! Just a substitute. Having eaten the original key lime pie in Key West, I can declare this to be a huge difference from the real one!
Had Lorenzo's Truffle Cream (enjoyed this one although it could use a little "color") plus Roast Pork & Chicken (the cinnamon saba was a pleasant surprise).
Aged steak tastes like Peter Luger's but the regular one is just as good. I pair it with a Rioja. They fly in fresh Maine Lobsters - have it with the white rice. Best paired with champagne. Yum!
Sumptuous STEAKS!! they have specific time like 6pm-8:20pm to finish your dinner. I dont like the staff/s standing 2-feet from my table & over hear conversations. Creamy spinach tasted like laing.
