It's in the heart of the university district, so lots of affordable shops and good food, which is great for small college budgets. There's a parking garage, but they validate at most stores if you ask

TSC2-When the University was established the lava rock wall was built to keep cattle out. Clue number two, travel further back in time and experience the native culture.

Good eats and some fun shopping. If you have free time before a football or basketball game Main Gate Square is a nice place to kick back and relax.
