MUST HAVE: Pan con bistec. Fritas are by far the best in Miami - & probably Cuba for that matter, have it with a fried egg on top. El Mago and his daughter Martica will always make at home, ask Obama!
Everything is PERFECT! Favorites are the Pan con Bistec, Frita with Cheese and a Fried Egg, Flan, and their Mango Shake!!!! Daily specials are a must. They range from Garbonzos to Chicharones.
Do yourself a favor. Get any of the Frita variations (they're all great) and a batido de Mamey. If you fancy a pan con bistec then indulge yourself. Chicharrones on Saturdays. Thank me later!!
fritas a caballo are awesome. try the levanta muertos wheat+coffee smoothie. also the guanabana one. croquetas are creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. 10/10.
When you go to this Gem, you have to let Martha and Barry tell you the story of how this place came to be. Loved every minute I was there and every piece of food I ate! Frita, chicharones, ajiaco, etc
