My first time a man was it memorable! We stayed in the caveman suite. And it did not disappoint, we were happy to discover we had a built in waterfall as well as a grotto style rock shower and sink!
One of the most lurid hotels you’ll ever see, but also one of the sweetest and nicest places. Stay for cocktails and food in the evenings and watch the live band and while families dancing.
If you like campy kitsch, this is a great themed hotel to make a 1 night stop in. Enjoy the grounds, but don't go for an XL room (much of the space will be unused) or eat dinner at the steakhouse
Anniversary Dinner at Gold Rush Steak Houseribeye steak was tender & seasoned to perfection. pink champagne cake was wonderful. The decor is super Kitschy & beautiful a must for a special occasion.
Amazing atmosphere, extremely accommodating staff, unique rooms. Definitely a must visit. The food in the Copper Cafe is excellent, their champagnecake is to die for.
Feels like you may have stumbled into a White Christmas or a Tarantino movie; in either case, the kitsch is delightful and a cant miss for folks traveling on the 101.
This hotel is way too comfortable we woke up late! the restaurant is packed even on a weekday. the food here is indeed nice! a must-stay if you gonna drive in between LA and SF!
