I know a well designed hotel when I see one. This one takes the prize. Wood in and elegant way, 70s touch and warm winter style

Find a flight of stairs on the ground level leading to a small garden. The garden would have been an oasis if not for all the exhaust fans blowing down on it from surrounding buildings

Excellent new hotel - great view of Empire State building

Do NOT stay on floor 17 if you want to sleep. The rooftop bar is directly above and you can hear everything - music, doors, water running, clanking - until they close way past midnight.

Been here 5+ times
Never take closets and rubbish bins for granted. Be careful when taking showers as the bathroom looks good but it’s not that functional.
