Some of the best steaks around are found at Maddox. They are closed on Monday, but open the rest of the week. No alcohol, but serves buffalo meet as well as home grown beef. Shrimp steak is great!
The restaurant was packed! Started with the muffin shaped rolls with Raspberry butter. Main course: Trout, bake potato and corn. Leave room for the Peach Pie. Bon appetit!
If you try the "Bison" steak you won't go back to a regular steak. Also the Shrimp steak is one of the most interesting and delicious things on the menu...
Sign up for their "Meet and Eat" program. You can meet the cow, heck you can name the cow! Then you receive an email notifying you when "Bessie's" number comes up. Awesome!
If you have a big party, call to get a reservation at The Lodge. There's more space and it feels more exclusive. The service and the food is just over the top, as expected.
