I wish the statues and photo op areas were a little more interactive (I'm comparing it to their Vegas attraction). But the experience was awesome and I really enjoyed the 4D movie and their staff !
We went for the ghostbusters Void Experience. Fantastic - it's $50 but worth it. Rest of the experiences also super fun. Get here by 9am if your doing ghostbusters otherwise LONG LONG wait.
Bring a nice camera to shoot in low light and come with a few people so you guys make pics of each other. Worth it, especially for tourists! Many figures look real (some not) but overall pretty cool!
I went there over the summer for the first time and it was so fun and amazing. It's so amazing how some of the wax figures look so real. If you haven't went there, please do so.
Teens, who can be hard to please, usually love this museum. Why? Because they can take endless photos for their Facebook pages with the lifelike wax figures of everyone famous.
Check for deals and discounts on Groupon! Multiple floors. Wax figures from various industries: art, comedy, film, history, music, etc. Special exhibit for NY-related wax figures. Crowded. Loud.
The wax figures of J. Lo and Oprah look so cool and real! It's a great place to visit if you are visiting New York, or showing someone around that visiting NYC http://www.SignsVisual.com Read more
Be sure to purchase the ticket online you will get it with a lower fare. The bad thing that happened to us when we purchased the tickets and went out there at 8:30 and the were closed !!!
This venue is bound to be a crowd pleaser. Have a special presentation? Rent out the 4D Cinema! Celebrating your team’s big win? The Sports Zone is the place to go.
real nice, but very crowded! It seems like the citytours have packages with this location so many crowds were there when I visited. But once you pass the ticket counter the whole experience is good.
Make sure you get in the right line or you won’t get a ticket or be able to use the bathroom and no one will tell you which line is the ticket line. Good luck!
Really enjoyed this place!!! most of the figures are very lifelike. only downer was time it takes to pick up pictures. would be nice to be able to review them before you get to counter.
Liked the experience. Not all characters are extremely look like, some of them actually didn't look like. Its great for the first half, but after that you start to get bored cause is pretty much the same.
My friend and I refused to go to the scary part of the museum so the staff who where standing outside chased us around and tried to frightened us! but it was a fun thrill!
A neighbor of ours: a touristy experience, of course, but still one that has lots of camp value. We love the new Diddy character. Be sure to arrive early because the lines can be crazy. Read more
Was fun to look around, I personally wouldn't bother with the 4D movie if your tickets don't include it... If you do go see it don't sit at the front for a better experience.
We visited the museum on a regular thursday at 10.30 am and it was marvelous. Its not that we were alone but we didnt have to face crowds, long lines of people nor similar annoying experiences.
There are 3 stations where they take your photo and you can buy it at the end. There should be a way to see it/them BEFORE you wait on line. If you're not happy, you've waited for nothing.
You can buy a classic pass for about $31 which doesn't include the How We Do It movie. They give 15 percent off for AAA membership. I would get the regular admission ($35) as it is worth it.
