Something different and unique, which is a great addition to the neighborhood. The cocktail list is creative, and the bartender is awesome. There's another bar downstairs with trivia and live music.
Come here in a group, great for birthday parties or any other special occasions. Make sure to book a reservation for group events a week in advance. There's even karaoke!
One of the best new bars on the City. The cocktails are pricey but taste great. It will have a full kitchen too when it has its official opening this fall.

Infusions are all vodka. Cocktail list has 6 drinks- 3 anise liquor & 3 non. This should not be considered as a destination when looking for a sophisticated cocktail. Apologies for the snobbery.
Interesting vodka infusions. I had a carrot chai vodka which was tasty. However, cocktail menu is lackluster. Definitely need to design some drinks to incorporate these wonderful vodkas.
Proclaims "absinthe cocktails!" on their sign, yet stocks only Absente, a crappy absinthe-flavored liquor & has only 3 unimaginative such "cocktails" on the menu. Blank stare when asked for the list.
The Jules Verne decor is *almost* there, but the lights are up high, the bartender was humorless and chat, and the blah cocktail list felt like an opportunity missed.
The music is awful and the lighting is nowhere near dark enough. Never seen this many wannabe poser nerds anywhere else in NYC. The real nerds go to metal bars I guess.
