Nicolas Van leekwijckJune 7, 2014Baggage checkin was unpleasant, unfriendly AirFrance staff, 3 times the baggage checkin ports changed. Security check was close to HELL: waiting lines where massive. After that everything was ok!

Nice new carpet, nothing real to eat though. You probably should have grabbed a nice bite in the main terminal. Enter regret and slight hunger.
Copa sucks. Be sure to have them verify and stamp your final destination at the counter before going to the gate
Ines ObtinallaJuly 7, 2013Pros: Free wifi from LAX and Verizon charging stations. Cons: Worst Starbucks line ever. If you think you found the end of it, look across the hallway because it probably continues. :(

If you fly United Premium, don't forget you can check in and go through security at Terminal 6.
Gillian SalitMarch 2, 2011Make sure to leave yourself extra time- they started using the body scanner at security. It takes FOREVER.
Even coming 3 hours early and on MDMA won't make this airport any better. Even if they have free cocktails by naked women still won't make this place less painful.
Get you Starbucks on the way to the airport the wait at the Virgin terminal is always 20 to 30 minutes long.
Arrive extra early for American Eagle flights, you are shuttled on the tarmac to your gate.
Shuttles to the long term parking lots depart next to the blue signs. The signage at LAX doesn't mention parking at all.
Jeffrey HerbergerFebruary 18, 2012The US Air terminal has crappy places to relax and have a beer. Gordon Biersch has good beer but bad atmosphere.- No need to arrive two hours early on a Tuesday afternoon. Of course, Cocktails are just steps away!
Definitely ask for directions navigating around the construction (especially around gate 64)

Love coming to LA but hate this airport. It doesn't scream Hollywood to me.
