Alper: Mostly expat set but still such a nice place to visit and an interesting area.
David: I've never been there but my cousin's mom said it's worth checking out this place.
David: Been there once. It might be fun if you like drums. It has a very chill atmosphere.
David: Standing tickets cost only about 3000 yen and you can get it simply by queuing before the showtime. So, you need to wait but it's worth waiting for it. (Alternatively you can buy tickets online and it's also good)
David: Last time I went there, there was a new cool natural history-ish museum on the top floor. It was cool and free. I think this is like welcome collection university of Tokyo version.
David: Not sure if this is the correct location. But the extension of the palace garden (?) is pretty and normally quiet.
David: My parents used to take me there when there was a big Yamaha in this area. A nice alternative to hands to browse random stuff.
Elbi: Lovely place, and a busy market street on the path leading there from the south. Get some of the ningyoyaki (sweet bean paste in pancake dough)!
Lorenzo
Elbi: Massive park, impressively old forest, and all these shrines that get rebuilt every couple of years. Also, Harajuku is right around the corner. Get some tradition AND modern fashion!
Lorenzo: Haute couture brand shops (interesting for the architecture, not for the shopping)
Lorenzo: Jōkan-ji is a buddhist temple. Its cemetery houses the remains and spirits of about 25,000 prostitutes and fire victims of the Yoshiwara quarter of the Edo period.
