The Long Center - such a great venue with unique performances! At the Idina Menzel show, they upgraded tickets (for free!) to better seats because the show did not sell out - pretty awesome!
Founded in 1911, the Symphony is Austin’s oldest performing arts group. The Halloween Children’s Concert and Christmas Sing-Along are local family faves.
They actually provide a live audio description service to make ballet accessible to the visually impaired. I think this is amazing highly highly recommend.
For at least some performances, you can pay the valet 5 bucks extra to park your car right up front and then keep your keys, for a quick escape at the end. You just have to ask.
parking in the garage is least desirable option. can take 15 min just to back out of your spot if you get to your car when everyone else is leaving the garage.

Parking at city of Austin lot -- sometimes there's a fee. Same $7 as garage but cash only. Advantage is lots faster exiting surface lot. Garage has long lines usually.
Concerts in the Park on the lawn in front with Austin Symphony! Sundays during the summer at 7:30pm. Great for a picnic, a date, alone, or with the kids.
