One of the best places for mexican ingredients. Plus there are some terrific speciality shops. Great place to spend a Saturday morning. If you want to get yelled at eat at Shopsins it may be worth it.
One of the best places to get masa in the city. Shauna probably know more about the process than anyone on the east coast.

A hidden gem in the heart of Bushwick. A terrific fresh produce and mexican grocery market. You can pickup some fresh killed chicken next door as well.

Yellow Masa is terrific bright corn flavor. Nancy who makes it does a great job & is super nice. Not sure if you can order it in small amount. We order wholesale. Call & ask before you head up there.
Of course you should stop by our stand when we're open and let us cook for you, but there are some producers and farmers here that will contribute just the right touch to a mexican feast.
When this is open and El Poblano Farm is here, run, don't walk. Or drive, or bike, because it isn't super close to public transportation. Some of the best mexican produce grown in the state.

Yea, I know it's 'middle eastern' but they have some of the best retail prices on spices, grains, nuts, etc. So, just go & those guys that work the main ingredient area, they are smarter than you.
When Kalustyan's seems too far, head here, they have nearly everything they do and also a hell of a lot of beer varieties. Spices, dried chilis, grains, oh my.
This place is a great source for dried chilies and much else. Their produce outside is generally pretty good too.

Yea, in a pinch, go here, but without being obvious, it's too pricey for most things you need. Generally though, they have what you need, in small formats.
Pickup a Flour Tortilla Mix or Kit and make fresh flour tortillas at home. Also, pickup one of their pickled products or special salsa when available. Our pickled jalepeños are the best you've had.
They have a tiny selection of fresh produce and dry ingredients, not the best, but good in a pinch. Grab a lengua or cabrito taco too.
They have a decent selection of local meats, dairy, and grains and beans and other stuff. So, maybe skip the tacos next door & make some at home.

Yea, I know, it's a cluster#$%@, but there is a produce market (also wholesaler) called Manhattan Fruit, that has a good selection of ingredients used in Mexican cooking.
A Chinese restaurant supply store that sells to the general public. Skip the fancy stores and you'll find some good stuff here. Tortilla holders, rollers (chinese not american), etc.
All kinds of cooking ware you might need. Poke around. Pay in cash and save.
