One of the best yet least known brunch spots in the city. You can walk in here most days, get a fantastic meal and be in and out within 30 minutes. Turns pretty fancy for dinner, but well worth it.

Everything on the constantly fluctuating menu is great. Sit facing the kitchen to watch the chefs work. Supplement your meal with pastries and coffee from Knead Patisserie in the back.
A great brunch spot that's rarely as busy as the other Mission options. Ask for an order of their potatoes with your meal (they're not on the menu).
The menu is constantly changing based upon what's in season from only local farms. This means the food is always fresh, tasty and highly creative.
KarlaAugust 30, 2015Come for the food, but don't hold your breath for good service. And definitely don't ask for wine advice. Overheard the waiter speculate that rose was red wine and white wine mixed together. Yikes!
Feel every bit like the self-satisfied San Franciscan you are when your out of town guest declares that was the best brioche she has ever had in her life.

Doc PopNovember 20, 2011Try the Corn beef Hash Breakfast - An unexpected hit. The beef is slow cooked with beets and extremely tender. I was expecting more traditional, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I bring my computer on days when I'm overworked and have a delicious, indulgent pick-me-up of a lunch. Every bite makes me happy!

Everything we tried was really full of taste. You can't go wrong.
Usually a short or non-existent wait for brunch, but you generally need to reserve for dinner.
Anything with eggs is magical. No line if you saunter in late for brunch at 1!
The asparagus and poached egg brioche is amazing! Hopefully it's on the menu during your next visit...- They also serve dinner (with table service) which is good but not as good as their brunch.
