All seated venue with good view from just about anywhere & great acoustics in the Georgian / Cathedral quarter of the city. Plenty of legroom & the staff have a relaxed attitude. Well worth a visit.

Difficult to get a bad seat here really. We prefer the balcony for view and sound. Get there early in the summer and enjoy the bar. Good beer

Take advantage of student discounts here and watch some contemporary rock, pop, folk, roots, or jazz and blues. Or maybe some comedy? There’s even a cabaret-style venue upstairs.

If you do bother with the bar, avoid the organic bitter - tastes like it's recycled from the bogs!!

Don't bother with the bar at the interval...nip to the Phil pub across the road! (Diagonally across crossroads).
