The Saturday farm market on College Ave. is great. We like getting an iced coffee from Copper Rock and just wandering around.
So quirky and fun. Cleo's is decorated for every season and the drinks are great. (I recommend a dirty martini.) The place is really laid back. Go late on a weekend and snag the table by the jukebox.
Chicken Kiev is to die for, but the best thing? Half priced hors d'oeuvres Mon-Thurs if you sit on the patio or at the bar!
Love your local library. This is a great place to chill in addition to a great place to check out books. The atrium is awesome!
Almost indescribably beautiful. Go and enjoy sundown with a picnic near the interpretive center (not the big fancy building, the one that's tucked away down a path). The prairie is inviting!
Great in all seasons. Wear good (and by "good" I mean "can get dirty") shoes and get out into the mud!
I'm keeping an eye out for the next time they do strawberry/pistachio swirl on their yogurt machines. It was AMAZING.
Last time I was there I had the mushroom ravioli. We had an enormous group and they couldn't fit all of the pizzas in their oven, but they were very nice and kept us informed.
Everything is made right at the time of order, so they encourage substitutions. Get the papardelle. So good, it doesn't even need the chicken. Oh! And they have cider on tap!
