One of the Best place for a romantic dinner in Paris. Very good onionsoup and duck breast. Check also the toilette and the local. Very Historical place for a super restaurant. Super details attention
Voltaire was here preparing the revolution ) so you neeed go to here. The place is expensive, but for 2 glass of wine ( 10 euros) you can see 18 century restaurant 😂
Very authentic interior, the food was more than delicious and the staff is friendly. It’s not as expensive as it is said, at least by the Parisian standard.
Oldest historic restaurant in Paris which intact decor evokes the French Revolution and famous visitors from Napoleon to Franklin. Good local food and polite service.
Oldest Cafe in Paris. Benjamin Franklin and Robespierre ate here among others. In this historic alley lived Danton and Marat leaders of the French Revolution.
A must try in Paris! Very delicious food, incredible polite staff and great atmosphere 🇫🇷 onionsoup, duck ponfrit, risotto and chocolate cake were awesome 👏🏻
Oldest historic restaurant in Paris which intact decor evokes the French Revolution and famous visitors from Napoleon to Franklin. Good local food and polite service. .
The place for a special occasion :) good food and service! The oldest cafe in Paris and the first place where they started to serve coffee on the terrace
Delicious food and great experience. Try onionsoup and beef cheek. 5* friendly staff. Gorgeous atmosphere with relics from the times of French Revolution and Napoléon.
I've read many negative reviews of this place, but I have no idea why. The food was very good (french soup amazing!), service ok. Place is very authentic.
Napoleon's hat is in the foyer on the back entrance. You can take a look without having to enter the restaurant. They say Benjamin Franklin penned a good portion of the U.S. Constitution here.
Good food, but not amazing. The real beauty is in the ambiance & history. The service standards also make the dining experience enjoyable. Go here just to say you did, but don't expect to be wowed.
Historical place with a really unique decor. Service was friendly and polite. Food was not as good as expected. Coq au vin was okay, the sauce was pretty watery and you couldn't really feel the wine.
Bad restaurant. I waited a full hour for my food and it was not served to me. I asked several times, especially the waiter. He was very rude and did not give any attention. Then I left the restaurant
Oldest cafe in the world & regular hangout of Napoleon & Voltaire. Super interesting place, but walk in, look around, stay for a coffee/wine, & walk out. Overpriced and mediocre at best.
Ancré au cœur de Saint-Germain des Prés, le plus ancien café-restaurant parisien vous promet une cuisine traditionnelle française dans un cadre historique.
