- Peter ChunMarch 19, 2016Free valet parking. If you have status w/ Starwood try to grab the x24 rooms. They have wrap around terraces with an outdoor private jacuzzi.Upvoted Aug 15
- NitashaMay 20, 2015The hotel is gorgeous and very close to the Santa Monica pier. We got upgraded to the suite room which was a little cosy but with a huge balcony. The views from the room are great.
- William CapodannoJuly 10, 2015Solid Starwood property and a huge improvement from when it was a Sheraton. Great staff and service. Only negative is a bit removed from the action but within walking distance to everything
- Golboo MatinkhouFebruary 28, 2020Absolutely the best place to stay in Santa Monica. Or anywhere in LA. The staff goes above and beyond to to ensure you have a great stay. The rooms are large for LA standards with very comfy beds.
- Kathryn LindsaySeptember 25, 2014Great breakfast spot on the mezzanine. Quiet & relaxing... Didn't have eggs florentine on the menu but made it for me to order and the eggs were cooked perfect! Service here is exceptional.
- The hotel menu is a little pricey but very good. If you like #watermelon and delicious flavor, can't go wrong with a Watermelon Splash! #deliciousflavor #WatermelonSplash
- Heather DiamondNovember 12, 2012The new rooms are beautiful, very modern. The damp smell is gone. The staff is friendly. To get to your room may be a bit of a maze but mostly worth it. The walk is annoying but the beach is worth it.
- Stayed here for 3 weeks for work, had 4 different rooms, all of them were dark, broken vanity mirrors in every room, horrible views, did I mention dark? Bed was comfortable and the staff awesome.
- Giulia PratiOctober 8, 2017Complimentary daily espresso beverages, welcome glass of prosecco, and unique decor made for an upscale and charming experience.
- Charming, modern and unique. The staff is great, furthermore the concierge is extremely mindful. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
- Jean-Yves MartineauMarch 13, 2016Service is very nice and the staff is very helpful! Place is well decorated and comfortable, plus they have Ily coffee!!
- Andy ChapmanAugust 24, 2015Nice place, walking distance to Main Street and beach. Beware Mezzanine rooms, no view and lobby noise. Gym is small too, couple machines not working properly.
- Daniel AssisiMay 15, 2014Consider asking for a wheelchair accessible room - the one on 4th floor has a nice ocean view!
- Emily AnnMarch 23, 2017The lobby was great but rooms felt very old with just bandaid improvements to modernize it. Service was good and they had amenities like bikes (that's included in a service fee they surprise you with)
- Josh van HulstAugust 23, 2015It was really enjoyable. The view from the 8th level much better than taking the room in their side unit at the cabanas.
- The braised beef short ribs are absolutely to die for! Fork tender and mouthwatering delicious!
- Carrie GouskosMay 14, 2013Two power plugs built into the tablestand next to each bed. May seem like a small thing, but if so, why do most hotels make finding power like a game of Where's Waldo?
- Pelin Güvenç KefelMay 9, 2018The location is awesome, only a couple blocks away from the pier and the promenade!
- Eric NakagawaDecember 25, 2015Parking isn't free here. It's included in the resort fee ($18, 12/2015)
- Hidden cafe on 2nd floor. 9th floor rooms with outside hot tubs.
- Troed SångbergJuly 1, 2011If you don't feel like eating breakfast at the hotel, try Oceanside Café two blocks down Pico towards the beach. Plenty, priceworthy and tasty!
- Complementary valet parking, soft carpet, exceedingly friendly staff, great location.
- The suite terraces are pretty nice, with plenty of natural light, but other than that the rooms leave a lot to be desired.
- OLGA LAZINMay 23, 2015Best place for swimming and fitness room. Olympic swimming pool, heated and clean .
- Take off your shoes and enjoy the soft carpet that doesn't feel dirty and make you want to wear socks AND slippers.
- Great views of the ocean and sunsets from the balcony.
- Keith BlodornJune 6, 2022Decent quality hotel with spacious rooms, lobby bar and pool. Location is not great, a few blocks from downtown SM. Weird hallway from elevator to rooms.
- Jacob RosenbergFebruary 14, 2015Refurbished from the previous Sheraton but still a little run down. Million dollar views!
- Such great amenities, like free wifi and complimentary valet parking
- Nick BeneshMarch 18, 2013The drive-up attendants are great. Were always asking what they could do to help, and cheery about it.
- The wifi in the Lobby and Restaurant is Free.you don't have to Write you right Name-just get nuts in your Keyboard ;) wifi in your room isn't Free :(
- Nate KochAugust 20, 2013One of the pictures in room 915 has a woman in it that looks just like Ellen from the 1920s.
- AmateurConciergeAugust 14, 2016A fine enough spot to stay in SaMo but quite overpriced at $450/night
- Philly DOctober 7, 2011Your right around the corner Fromm a cool place called M Street Restaurant. Very Kid Friendly! Go check it!!
- Pam IveyMay 18, 2011The lobby's beautiful - very chic and modern. The hallways and rooms however, are in need of an update. Friendly staff and good service.
- Found Out:if you Login wifi in the Lobby and go to your room, you can Surf One Hour Free ;)
- Carmine GalloOctober 7, 2011The Sheraton and Starwood hotels are on Foursquare. Learn about fsq for business in new book, The Power of Foursquare.
- Mert SakaOctober 25, 2015Why put the largest meeting room on top, accessible with only two elevators? Not allowed to use the stairs and that means 15 minutes waiting!?!
- Sara PJanuary 16, 2013This hotel is nice enough and in close proximity to the beach but the walls are ridiculously thin. I can hear absolutely everything going on in my neighbor's room.
