After sitting in a Delta seat for 5 hrs, my ass really appreciates the comfy chairs here.
Forget the Mexican restaurant across the street. Go to the Grand China down the street behind McD's.
If you are so inclined, get one of the five rooms with direct access to the pool.
Hash browns are great here. But if you like yours a bit crispier, ask for them to be "well done".
Ask the hotel to come empty your minibar so you can store food from the Albert grocery store that's just across the street!
Go to the Albert supermarket for groceries. It's just across the street out the lower lobby entrance. You can get a larger bottle of water than the hotel bottle at a 10th the price.
Kids play structure between gates 81 & 82 near the Pacific Grill. Great place to hang out before the flight!
Don't believe the front desk when they tell you that the club lounge closes at 11:30 am.
If carrying a tool through security, make sure it's less than the 7 inch max limit.
There's an AA lounge is across from gate T10.
If you're flying AA and have bag to pick up, look for "American Airlines Baggage Claim". It's downstairs separate from the others.
Use the Diamond Security lane by baggage claim 8. Just past Employee Checkpoint. Hardly ever any wait.
Make sure you ask for a guest room in the renovated parts. It makes a world of difference.
If you're going to be leaving the country, pay for part of your room with local currency to use it up. Be sure to save enough for taxi and any airport tax (if applicable).
After taking boarfing card,, there is a mini train to arrive in passport check. Take the mini-train, pass from passport check, then enjoy the atmosphere. Otherwise, you may be late.
This place is awesome. Get the Cannery street side room on the corner. Half the price as ocean view and you still get a partial ocean view
Use PreCheck in Terminals 2 & 4 for getting through TSA quickly.
