Had the prefix lunch it was a great deal. The muscles were good, the penne a la vodka was ok, could done without the peas, the Nutella pudding was heavenly,it is a must. Their truffle fries a must!

Lavo is pretty upscale & pretentious.Upstairs is a fine Italian dining with great food, wine & service.The line gets insanely huge definitely you should know a promoter so the experience is smoother.

This mega meatball, made of beef, veal and sweet Italian sausage boils in sauce for three hours - six times longer than Lavo's regular meatballs. Servers have to quarter it so it's easier to tackle. Read more

Their spaghetti with meatballs is amazing and you must try the Oreo Zeppoli for dessert! My only complaint is that they don't have red Sangria and it's an Italian restaurant.

Impression you get when you walk in and the kind of feel you get after you are seated are probably very different. So sit back relax and enjoy. Obviously you should try meatballs but all food is solid

Lobster pizza amazingly different. Plain cocktails. If you have gone to clubs in London, Paris and Athens,I don't think that in Lavo you can have an unbelievable experience. Not bad but nthng special

Restaurant week menu was delicious. My choices: Tuna Tartare and Gemelli Pasta. Everything so tasty and the attendance is excellent.

Try the Tuna Tartare With Avocado And Arugula - 1 of the benefits of working in the Hearst building - great chefs visit the cafe sometimes. This was superb.

Waygu meatballs are ridiculous in the best way possible as are the Kobe rice balls. And the filet mignon is decent too. Just order a bunch of different things and share with your group.

One of the best night club in NY. I had a crazy night over there. I would strongly recomend that to visit there, if you need to have fun.

Restaurant AND dance club? Yep, all in one - great for one stop in the night: food, drinks, dance and vibrant crowd of fun and fab New Yorkers...Easier to enter before 11pm! Always lines on weekends.

Visited for their famous Brunch parties. Mostly large groups celebrating an event so expect a Champagne/Fireworks parade every 15 minutes. Gets old fast.

A real italian experience. Servers are great, and the spaghetti with kobe meatballs is probably the best in NYC. A little expensive, of course, But worths every penny!

Food is great, but make sure to expect a club/Meatpacking-style scene and dress to impress. After hours on Saturdays consist of House music.

For an intimate date night or a relaxed dinner with friends, come in on a Sunday or Monday evening. Be sure to try the Clams Oreganato, the Kobe Meatball and the Bread Pudding.

The baked ricotta meatball is one of the most enticing items on the menu. Between that dish and the massive portion of tuna tartare I rarely have room for an entree.

Hostesses aren't considerate of reservations. Food and waiters are awesome. In house DJ amazing. Club was alright - pretty small. Expensive drinks - $12 beer.

Wow. Absolutely delicious. Great decor and service. I recommend the decadent sea bass 110%. And the strawberry shortcake.
