the fifth floor might be where all the action is, but the fourth floor is nearly as spacious and almost always empty.
the seating doesn't match and you never know what kind of mug your coffee will be served in, but that's part of the charm.
a bit loud, but they nail the coffee + the casual food (and you get a piece of chocolate with every drink).

a rare gem that's a bit removed from washington square. cell phone service is spotty everywhere but the first floor -- a fantastic way to keep your productivity in check.
