Great spot to bring a date or your parents who are visiting you and asking if you have found a nice girl yet. The RicottaLemonPancakes are fantastic. Pay with Cover and skip waiting for the check.
Loved this place! Loved the rib special, ricotta special, buckwheatcavatelli (meaty), scallops, and carbonara! Spice cocktail was a bit much. Borolo wine superb ! Apple tart to finish
One of of the most sought-after dishes on the menu at Italian hot spot L’Artusi, the Garganelli (cylinder pasta) is prepared with a mushroomragù and ricotta salata. Read more
If you don’t have a resi wks in advance, try Sunday night or 5:30 for a spot at the bar. Hands-down the best chicken in NYC. The crudos & ricotta apps are delicious. Save room for the olive oil cake
#FabuLIST #DubiDO if I had to rank the pastas #1 spaghetti #2 garganelli, #3 pici, #4 bucatini. For appetizers get the ricotta special and roasted mushrooms. For wine we loved the Dezzi
In my top 3 italian restos in NY. The mushroom pasta is my favorite pasta dish of all time. Walk in and sit at the bar - you can overlook the kitchen. Their crudos are also delicious.
Amazing food. Great staff. Everything is done beautifully. Definitely make a reservation way in advance. A little fancy but not stuffy. We loved everything but the hazelnutdessert was our favorite.
Wow. Incredible food and wine, super kind staff. The asparagus starter & swordfish entree were both amazing! We also had the garganelli, and the mushroomragu sauce was truffley and delicious.
Extended wine list! Go for the Brunellos! Don’t forget to order the pici, the bucatini and the garganelli. As for starters: mushrooms and hamachitartar. Last but not least, the octopus rocks.
At first, it looked fried egg w mushroom was a bit of joke but you know you made right choice once it in your mouth. Pasta is so great. Go simple one to savor great taste of pasta itself.
The wine room is a beautiful intimate space for a group of 16 max. You can even ask them to plug in your phone to play your own music! Service is great, food is outstanding. Can't wait to come back!
A very warm & bustling place. The lamb pici was one of the boldest-flavored pastas I've ever had- try this for something out-of-the-ordinary. The spaghetti is much lighter and but still great.
Awesome pasta lineup, especially the mushroom garganelli. Beef carpaccio and mushrooms excellent starters. Great (non-first) date spot. Sit at the counter if two people.
One of my favorite dinners this year. Go with crudo, pasta and make sure to get a solid bottle of wine. Make a res a month in advance for a later seating.
The mushroom pasta was highly recommended and we could see why! Once of the best pastas we’ve had! Also highly recommended the yellowfin tuna and the heirloom tomatobruschetta!!!
Atmosphere is awesome, servers are at the top of their game, and the menu and wine is on point. My wife and I come here all the time and are never disappointed.
Still a quintessential New York restaurant experience all these years later. The spaghetti and the rocky roadsundae are amazing. Get the ricotta app special if they have it
Perfect for date night! They serve the best beef carpaccio and all the crudos are delicious. The spaghetti is very light and tasty. Don't skip out on the olive oil cake - it's a slice of heaven!
Just a phenomenal restaurant. Tagliatelle is a must but all pastas are excellent. The burger is outstanding. Swordfish very good. Brussel sprouts epic. And don’t sleep on the warm cookies!
Sneaky good brunch. Pastries baked in-house, solid egg dishes, and some great pasta if you need to eat off a hangover. Double bonus points for taking reservations.
Must try the ricotta, the hanger steak and the gin cocktail infused w/lavender! Despite what everybody says about the chicken, not worth ordering! try the tagliatelle instead!
Great pasta and a beautiful bottle of Barolo are the only way to go. If the pizzocheri (a short taglietelle) with Brussels sprouts, fontina, and sage is on the menu, get it. Read more
LOVED this restaurant! So so good. My coworker + I did 4 courses each + split each dish between us so we could taste it all. Absolutely amazing! Raw scallops, rabbit, duck, pasta- get it all!
Such a cute spot for a date or a girl's night out! Cocktail list is spot on, food is delicious, guys might want to order more than a pasta, which is on the smaller side, but lamb ragufettuccine rocks
You're in for such a treat! Get the (1) fluke ceviche, (2) roasted mushrooms, & (3) tagliatelle (a must). Wash it all down w/ a glass of Minutolo: its the perf blend of mineral + floral & delish #idie
Amazing Italian Restaurant. The Pasta is so incredibly good! I highly recommend this place and the Italian Wine list is treasure trove of delight! Will come back here. Time and then again.
Ordered the Octopus, Mushrooms, Spaghetti & Steak and everything was garlicky deliciousness. Don't forget the Pacher Hof wine. The Olive Oil Cake that everyone raves about was disappointing, though.
The food is incredible. Get the wagyu beef tartar, wild mushrooms, and the pici with porkragu is to die for. The staff is also incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely be coming back.
Bon appetite from chef's table. Fluke is great. Mushroom can never be missed but it is pasta that brings me back to this restaurant no matter how long the wait is.
Excellent food and service. Order the day boat scallops and roasted mushroom for appetizers. The linguine Nero is delectable. Perfect date spot! Get the corner table near the kitchen.
L'Artusi is the perfect place for a date night with that special someone. Share a few gourmet plates and enjoy a glass from their extensive wine list. It will be a romantic evening to remember!
A new NYC favorite. Started with a ricotta special, beef carpaccio, and mushroom and friend eggs. Followed by orecchiette and octopus. All was delicious, especially the carpaccio and pasta.
Great spot but often busy at night. Go for Sunday brunch, sit at the bar, enjoy the pastas on the menu, pay with Cover, and enjoy one of the best West Village spots without the crowds.
Really great food and service. Make sure to book a reservation if you’re more than 2 people because it’s always busy. The ricottaappetizer and rabbitgnocchi were exceptional.
Great food. Had the cod with cannilini beans. The selection of cheeses is also nice. They serve with crisp crackers and honeyednuts. Atmosphere is chilled and lighting is nice too.
Waiters are friendly and the view is great from the chef's counter. Absolute musts are the house-made ricotta, roasted mushroom with fried egg, and squid ink pasta.
A fantastic selection of pastas can be found at this spacious West Villagerestaurant. Make sure to order the Tajarin Carbonara, which is finished off with a runny egg.
One of my go-to brunch spots in the neighborhood. They only do brunch on Sundays however. You can walk in without a res and sit at the bar under the lovely skylight. Delicious food and pastries.
Delicious brunch: steak and eggs, the BEST bfastpotatoes of your life with a whipped cream cheese dollop! Biscuits and gravy are great but SO filling, only for the starving man. Texas mimosa! Cheers!
Cozydate spot with delicious food. Hard to get a table. Definitely make a reservation in advance! Try the bone marrow, tagliatellepasta and chicken (main course).
If you're looking to be around the whitest, bougie-est, yuppie-est, most sickeningly, basic crowd, you have found your place. All these men and women aspire to live in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
L'Artusi opened Dec. 2008 and is named for Pellegrino Artusi. The kitchen presents Gabe and Katherine Thompson's modern take on traditional Italian Cuisine. The mostly Italian wine list is presented by region with a map DOCs and DOCGs as well as traditional local dishes, helping to demystify Italy.
