As a native born Texan, I understand the value of a proper tamale. I tried the banana-leaf chicken tamale, and my friend got the basic pork tamale. His regular pork one was the best I've had in yrs.

the tacos are perfect. meat is seasoned well - you don't really need the salsa, but it's a nice touch. the highlight of this place though is their bacon wrapped hot dogs! WAY better than street meat!

Most evenings they have a taco stand outside. Get four tacos, go inside and ask for the special sauce. The owner makes his own salsas and sauces...sooo good!
