kushi-agi - deep fried panko (bread crumb) covered specialities. Ask for the Yakitori, not listed on the menu, but a secret favorite of the locals. - Linda Cahil
The kitchen is really fast! Sometimes it gets really busy and the waitress/waiters get swamped, but that's understandable. Pretty good food! Try the Katsu don if you are hungry.
They have a great bento box. Surprisingly most of their neighbors don't have a bento box. One caveat, the tonkatsu was a little overcooked the first time I tried it.
Had a beautiful, light, crisp ramen. Could have used another piece of pork. Service was prompt, friendly, helpful for our early before 6pm dinner. Better than Mifune next door.
While the food was good, the giant bug I had to kill with my water glass and the mouse I saw running out as I was leaving really took away from the enjoyment.
Well, I didn't expect to experience the worst Japanese cooking I have ever tasted at the Japantown, but I did. I ordered chirashisushi, and it was simply terrible.
Just finished "eating" there. The service was absolutely terrible here. Slow, rude, are only just a few words to discernible this place. The food was terrible, didn't finish eating it.
