I got the $10 eggplant richa richa and it was very good! Spicy, tasty, simple lunch. Quick service, free wifi and 15% off for NYU students makes it great for between classes
One of the few legit Indonesian cafes in N.Y., their sandwiches are well executed, and coffee is great. Get a Kopi Susu and talk to the owner who is from Bali - very friendly.
It's where I drank a drink with avocado in it! I forget what it's called but get the avocado drink! Also, all their food is halal! I always get the Nasi Goreng or Chicken Rendang. I recommend both!
Good spot to study or have a meeting. Just the right amount of background noise and outlets. Plenty of seats on a Monday afternoon. Wait staff made a green iced tea by request. Reliable Wi-Fi
Beef Rendang sliders are a great snack No mess + beef still packed w/ flavor. Served with great, mild sambal. So many other yummy things on menu and great veg alternatives with tofu satay and rendang
This Indonesian cafe doubles as a ramen bar! Try the Kopi Susu, a Sumatran brew paired with condensed milk, for a delicious and unique coffee experience.
I love everything about this place! Authentic Indonesian coffee, super tasty cocktails and good food. The Bali Surf and the Espresso martini (really) are fabulous.
TO TRY: The es alpukat ($7), a traditional coffee-avocado shake, is made with half a ripe avocado, a shot of espresso, vanilla simple syrup, sweetened condensed milk and a smattering of chocolate.
Amazing coffee and pastries. Awesome place to get work done or have a conversation. Probably the kind of coffee shop the village used to be famous for.
Free wifi, fancy coffee beans, and lots of space to sit — a great coffee spot near Bobst and Kimmel but hidden from the heavy foot traffic around the Square. Read more
Really great espresso coffee. Good polite and welcoming service. Nice vibe, just off Washington park. Worth searching out. Don't just accept standard brewed coffee. Go here!
This place is enormous. It's usually packed full of students quietly internetting away in the back. Definitely one of the better coffee shops in the area.
Decent coffee that tries to be different than other shops in a saturated caffeinated city. The brûlée cappuccino is good but not the best cappuccino I ever had.
Kopi Kopi opened in May 2013 and is located near Washington Square Park, in the heart of Greenwich Village.
